Q&A with Makeup Artist Reshma Shaikh

Reshma Shaikh is a Makeup Artist based in Goa who owns Kiswas Beauty Salon in the city. She has expertise in bridal and party makeups. We decided to get in touch with her and had great fun discovering about her work. We asked a few questions on behalf of our brides and she gave some amazing tips. Keep reading to know what Reshma has to say.

1. What is that one thing that you would suggest for every bride to be for her D-day?

Reshma: Just relax and don’t stress yourself or get nervous as it might spoil the face expressions and the makeup too. Try to smile more and be confident.

2. What kind of makeup do you prefer for your day wedding brides?

Reshma: My personal favourite is a HUDA faux filler makeup for the day. I feel that the best kind of makeup is AIRBRUSH

3. What is the basic skin care routine a Bride to be should adopt?

Reshma: Wash your face according to the skin type and it should be used everyday with cleanser, toner & moisturiser. It’s a must with weekly exfoliation and a face pack with SPF15 SHOULD BE USED AS A SKIN CARE

4. What suggestions would you like to give to all the brides to be?

Reshma: Branded and good quality makeup products should be used higeinically by using sterilized brushes etc to avoid breakouts and side effects, specially for sensitive skin.
